I draw on my multicultural experiences and background working with survivors of intimate partner violence and inpatient mental health settings to create a holistic and truly safe therapeutic environment.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

I am currently telehealth only. All sessions take place via a secure video platform, which means you can attend from anywhere in Virginia — no commute, no waiting room.

What is EMDR and is it right for me?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-backed therapy that helps your brain process traumatic memories that feel "stuck." Instead of talking through an event in detail, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to help your nervous system reprocess the memory so it loses its emotional charge. It's particularly effective for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and grief. We'd discuss whether it's the right fit during our consultation.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes — I accept Aetna, Anthem, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Medicaid, Optum, Oscar Health, UnitedHealthcare, and more. I use Headway to handle insurance billing, which makes the process seamless. A sliding scale is also available for those who qualify.

What if I've never been to therapy before?

That's completely okay — most of my clients start exactly there. I'll never pressure you to share more than you're ready to. Our first sessions are about getting to know each other, understanding what brings you in, and figuring out what kind of support would feel most helpful for you.
